Hello, I'm Joe Targi, The Dog Trainer. I train dogs AND their owners, making for a complete dog training experience. I accept all types and sizes of dogs for training, and I train dogs of any age. Yes, I can train an older dog to help him or her better meet your expectations. Your dog should be a joy to watch and work with, and to be around in general. So if your dog isn't making you happy, maybe an enjoyable experience with me is just what you and your dog are looking for.

I use various training techniques.  Every dog, like every person, is different and I use what works for the individual dog. In my experience, I feel that there is no dog that cannot be trained.

Our Dog Training Services

I offer my K9 training services two ways, for your convenience. Your first option is to train the dog in my home, where the dog will stay and learn, followed up with private lessons for you afterwards so you can continue working with the dog. Your second option is to train your dog in your home, where I will come once a week to work with you and your dog. With two locations – in northern New Jersey (10 minutes from New York City) and northeastern Pennsylvania – Targi K-9 Training Services provides professional dog training services to the entire northeast region. I look forward to helping you reach your training goals, whether that be at your home providing custom training for your dog, or at one of our locations.
